Maybe you need to record a voice over for your video project. Maybe you're practicing for a Foreign Language or Speech and Debate. No matter what, this job is easy. We'll look at the two tools built into MacOS and Windows. There are many, many alternatives to record your voice.

Mac

  1. Open QuickTime.

  2. From the File menu select New Audio Recording

  3. Record your audio

  4. Save the file.

PC

  1. Press the Start button

  2. Type Voice Recorder

  3. Record your audio.

  4. Save the file.

Phone

  1. Check your recording app. I'm very confident you can find an app that records a sound file. Almost certainly one came with your phone.

  2. Check Google Drive. Make sure you also have the Google Drive app and you've logged in with your school Google account.

  3. Record your audio.

  4. Share the file to Google Drive.

    1. Save the file to a convenient folder. Your teacher may have shared one with you that you'll have to use.
